The Pointless Sampler Embroidery Panel

The pointless sampler does have a point to it! The design is made up of 11 embroidery stitches, stitched in 6 different strand amounts. It’s perfect for learning and practising stitches, while seeing how they look when stitched in different thicknesses.

I’ve designed it to be stitched with 6-stranded embroidery cotton and, once finished, it makes a handy reference hoop to keep nearby when stitching my other embroidery panel designs.

The pack includes a printed fabric panel and full instructions. The panel is available in two colour options - simply choose ‘Grey Ring Lines’ or ‘Blue Ring Lines’ from the drop-down list before adding to your basket.

This Pack Contains:

  • Printed cotton fabric panel of the Pointless Sampler design – no tracing needed! Digitally printed in the UK on 100% cotton. Fabric certification: OEKO-TEX Eco Passport Certified Ink (NEP 1612), ECOCERT Certified Ink, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton.

  • A full instruction booklet with stitch guides, tips, and a QR code linking to my growing library of stitch tutorial videos.

What Else Do You Need? Threads, a 5” embroidery hoop, needles, plain white fabric to double up with, scissors…. And a cuppa!

Choosing Your Thread Colours: You can pick whichever colour palette you love for this. You could choose a different colour for each ring, or you might decide to choose a colour for each stitch segment. The choice is yours!

Stitches Used: Straight Stitch, Back Stitch, Seed Stitch, Split Stitch, Satin Stitch, Stem Stitch, Long and Short Stitch, Chain Stitch, Fly Stitch, French Knots and Lazy Daisies.

Suitable For: Beginners and experienced stitchers.

Fabric Care: Iron on a medium heat using steam, ironing print side down for best results. Do not bleach or dry clean. Once embroidered, washing is not recommended as some threads may run and spoil your lovely work!

Packaging: Pointless Samplers come in a compostable PLA biofilm bag made in the UK from compostable EN13432 film. It will arrive tucked up safe and sound in paper – ready for gifting or as a cheerful treat for yourself.
